first woman president as a sea change...

I disagree with Hillary's assertion that her being the first woman to become president is a sea change. If it were some other woman, perhaps.

Hillary, to me, represents the status quo.

i agree. when she avails herself as "a fighter" we all know what that means. she is going to washington to alienate evey one not names Clinton. then, once again nothing gets accomplished. to me Obama represents a new way of governing, engaging the public in the debate using truth as a weapon against speacial interest. political "fights" end up as a tko of the American people.

that "sea change" remark was another attempt to divide and conquer. she is using demagoguery to win. shame on you, Mrs. Clinton. i really feel for Mrs. Clinton though, i honestly believe she was not always this cynical and jaded. but because of the firestorm she faced in the 90's, she came out on the other side very sardonic (the antonym of hopeful)

It seems like Senator Clinton is doing or saying whatever she feels she needs to to win, whether she believes it or not. I think it's fools like Lieberman that she rolls with.

I think maybe if Congress was suddenly filled with 50% women, there'd be a sea change. But one woman facing hostility and opposition? Not a chance.

I think that people who criticize her solely for being a woman need to grow up.

There's much to criticize other than her gender, which, isn't a bad thing.
